I bought this car in 2010 to replace the 1970 Lotus Seven I had races for 6 seasons of vintage racing at VIR, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Roebling Road, NJ Motorsports Park and Summit Point. I wanted to switch over to Formula Ford. Its always been the childhood dream to go formula racing since my Dad took me to see the Indy cars at Langhorne and Trenton in the late 1960s-early 1970s.

I have been racing vintage Formula Ford primarily with VDCA and SVRA on the east coast. I live in North Carolina so I have VIR as my home track. This car is basically at the end of the vintage Club Fords as defined by the Monoposto regulations that the vintage groups follow Monoposto Club Ford rules. The difference here is that these east coast vintage groups allow Club Fords to run with the vintage Formula Fords where you run on the same tires.

If you want to see the view from the cockpit, check out the In Car Videos section also. If you have any questions, send me a note at my Contact page.
